Everyone who designed, built, and sold a property has a reason to license your photos and film of it, and that is as true of an office, a hotel or a restaurant as of a house. On a commercial building Resid looks for the architect, the general contractor, the owner or developer, the interior designer, the engineer, and the operator or tenant. But collecting on any of it means hunting down the right contacts, writing email after email by hand, and guessing what to charge every time. So most of it never happens.

Invite them to license the shoot before it happens. They split one cost, so each license runs a fraction of buying in alone, and you walk in with the shoot already sold.
